Meet the Founder: Korin
This new chapter has been a long time in the making - one shaped by both my personal health journey and a lifelong commitment to wellness.
The Moment That Changed Everything
Nearly five years ago, I was diagnosed with uterine cancer. It was an experience that changed me in ways I never anticipated. I was incredibly fortunate to be under the care of exceptional physicians in gynecologic oncology at Jefferson Health, Penn Medicine, and Mount Sinai.
My diagnosis came at a very early stage - so early, in fact, that in many cases further testing might not have been pursued. I remain deeply grateful to the OBGYN who trusted my intuition, listened closely, and encouraged us to look deeper. That experience opened my eyes in a powerful way.
What I Learned by Listening to Women
Through countless conversations with doctors, specialists, and women of all ages, I began to see just how widespread and how under-discussed issues surrounding gynecologic and vaginal wellness truly are. The more I listened, the clearer it became.
Women deserve better options, better information, and products designed with both science and compassion at their core.
Why I Created gina
That understanding, combined with my own journey, became the catalyst for creating this company I call gina.
A Life Built Around Helping People Feel Their Best
For more than three decades, my work has centered on helping people feel their best. From founding the country’s first aromatherapy day spa, to building a nationally recognized MedSpa chain, to launching an integrative health division focused on whole-body wellness - every chapter has been guided by the same mission: to create thoughtful, effective solutions that genuinely improve quality of life.
This new venture is a continuation of that purpose - rooted in care, integrity, and a deep respect for women’s health.
With Gratitude
I’m incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and trust I’ve received over the years from my family, friends, colleagues, and this community. It means more than I can express, and I’m honored to share this next chapter with you.
With gratitude,
Korin
