Coconut oil has been trusted for generations for intimate care because of its deeply hydrating, soothing properties. At gina, we use pure, high-quality coconut oil because it helps support vaginal comfort without disrupting the body’s natural balance.
It’s naturally moisturizing, hormone-free, and free from fillers or unnecessary additives, making it a thoughtful choice for women across life stages.
Instructions for Use:
Glides must be melted and liquified prior to chilling
If glides arrive melted and liquified, place in fridge (foil side up) for at least 60 minutes until fully chilled and solid.
If glides arrive partially white, or solid white, gently warm the blister pack (by placing the glide tips in warm water) until the coconut oil is melted and liquified. Once melted, place the gina glide blister pack (foil side up) in fridge for at least 60 minutes until fully chilled and solid. Glides will be perfectly formed when you squeeze to pop out.
After removal from fridge, separate a single chilled glide and wait 1 to 3 minutes before inserting.
Insert up to 3x per week before bedtime or intercourse for ongoing hydration.
1. Empty bladder, clean area, and wash hands.
2. Separate a single chilled glide, wait 1 to 3 minutes and then peel back foil.
3. Squeeze to pop out glide onto a clean surface.
4. Insert while lying on back, with knees raised.
5. Wait 3 minutes, or until fully melted.
If new to vaginal care or experiencing extreme dryness, start with finger or finger-sleeve insertion for greater comfort.
For a more detailed step-by-step guide, visit our page on How to Use the Glides.
Coconut oil naturally solidifies at cooler temperatures. Storing gina glides CHILLED helps maintain product integrity, freshness, and ease of handling. Dispense (squeeze to pop out) within 1 to 3 minutes after removal from fridge. Once applied, the oil melts instantly on contact with skin.
Yes. gina is formulated to be gentle enough for daily care, or as often as you feel discomfort. Because it’s hormone-free and made without fillers, fragrances, or harsh ingredients, it can be used regularly to help hydrate, soothe, and support ongoing vaginal comfort.
Like all oil-based products, coconut oil is not compatible with latex condoms, as it can weaken the material. For condom use, we recommend non-latex options.
Many women report improved vaginal hydration, longer-lasting comfort during intimacy, and an overall sense of ease and confidence. Beyond physical comfort, gina is designed to support quality of life, intimacy, and connection, because vaginal comfort impacts far more than just one moment.
According to current medical literature, guidance from professional organizations, and recent clinical research available through educational and evidence-based medical platforms, coconut oil is considered pH-neutral.
Coconut oil is a pure lipid and does not have a meaningful aqueous pH – it is essentially pH-neutral at 6.07 when applied to mucosal surfaces, unlike water-based lubricants.
An in vitro study found that coconut oil suggested a relatively neutral effect on vaginal flora, unlike many dominating commercial water-based vaginal lubricants like KY Jelly, Replens and Trimo-San. Additionally, pure coconut oil lacks chemical additives and preservatives (parabens, propylene glycol) found in many commercial products.
